Description

Volunteers and patrons for the Winter Solstice Celebration

The winter solstice signifies the shortest day of the year and the longest night. Throughout the ages, solstice has been marked by different cultures through celebrations of light, feasts and music. Volunteers will assist in providing a family-friendly celebration of light with a campfire, storytelling, sweet treats, craft making and a luminary walk to celebration patrons with tasks including set up, take down and primarily helping with the craft table.
