Description

Join us and help put the finishing touches on the oak woodland restoration project at Dorris Ranch!

Willamalane Park and Recreation and Middle Fork Watershed Council have worked together to release the oak woodland, and now we need your help to give it a little love. We will be planting native shrubs and wildflowers that are adapted to areas with more sunlight, just like the newly restored woodland! These native plants will help attract pollinators, provide key habitat for native birds and wildlife and reduce erosion on the open slopes. Your help will ensure that our work is successful and lasts well into the future.Come for the restoration, stay for the celebration! After getting our hands dirty planting we will gather at the Dorris Ranch barn for snacks and drinks to celebrate the watershed, our volunteers, and all the great work we have accomplished this year.
