More than half of all people over 65 have hypertension (high blood pressure). There are usually no symptoms, which is why it is important to check blood pressure regularly. Participants benefit from this program because measurements are taken in-between doctor’s visits, offering participants the convenience of not having to travel to a medical facility and the comfort of knowing their status in the meantime.
We seek patient individuals who are dependable, punctual and can explain information clearly to seniors. Please consider becoming a volunteer.
Typical Tasks:
- Take blood pressure measurements using monitors
- Explain what the measurements mean to participants
- Record measurement data in participant records
