With the help and initiative of The Ark Veterinary Clinic and The Training Spot, we are excited to offer this opportunity to improve Lively Dog Park, Willamalane's one and only dog park!
Join Willamalane and members of The Ark Veterinary Clinic and The Training Spot on Thursday, May 10th 9-11am to help fill gopher/vole holes at the dog park. This is an important step in improving the safety of canine park users to reduce risk of injury and disease exposure.
Dress for the weather and anticipate cool weather with a chance of rain. Volunteers will want to be sure to wear clothing that is comfortable for moderate activity and that you don’t mind getting a dirty, as the volunteer activities will include shoveling, pushing a wheelbarrow or carrying a bucket, picking up litter or other similar tasks.
