SUB's Light of Liberty Celebration, now in its 17th year, is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to Project Share, a charity that helps low-income Springfielders with utility bills. The event features fireworks, live music and a large kids area. Volunteers can assist with event set up and tear down, staffing at activity booths, ticket taking, and more.
To volunteer, contact Joan Kerfoot, Springfield Utility Board (SUB) Volunteer Coordinator, joank@subutil.com or phone 541-744-3611. If you "respond" to this opportunity, your response will be provided to SUB and you will receive a follow up message from Joan.
